What we do.

We’re about thirty volunteer women who raise funds for Hadley through our braille holiday card sale, our annual Benefit, and events through the year. Since 1953 the board has given Hadley more than $6 million, all of it supporting free help for people who are blind or have low vision.*

Hadley was founded in Winnetka in 1920 and has helped people adjust to vision loss for more than a century.

Workshops, discussion groups, podcasts and one-on-one help by phone — all of it free, online, by phone and by mail.
